Having turned 60 in a rather uneventful way and having lost my walking partner I have just joined the gym with the aim to get fitter. I would love to be able to complete a run again having had to abandon the half marathon training I was doing prior to COVID. Not sure that a half marathon would be my goal now but maybe I should reconnect with the park runs and achieve 5k.
Being more healthy is a definite goal, so eating better is something I need to do. I would like to cut down on all the snacks in between meals but as I enjoy my food so much I hope to be sensible about what I eat rather than cutting out all the ‘bad’ stuff
I would also like to prepare myself for a life beyond work so as well as continuing to learn the ukulele and guitar I have recently bought a sewing machine! I have made a couple of crafty items but want to learn to sew properly. Today I bought a pattern, some fabric and thread and then read the instructions……a little bit of internet research will be needed to understand them!!!
