Amazing day in Liverpool on raising awareness on perinatal mental health

It was an honour today to be in a room with around 40 other people who are all so passionate and dedicated to making early parenthood better for others.

I was part of an alliance of individuals, charities and service providers all working together in planning a National Awareness week, probably early next year, on perinatal mental health in the UK. This will incorporate information and support for both Mums, Dads, children and families.

That day started by an interview on BBC Radio Merseyside for me with Tony Snell. They included the day in their main new bulletins too. You can listen again here at 07:30 (for seven days). Later on there was another interview by Pauline McPartland from PSS postnatal support in Liverpool.
